The Little Kingdom Family Child Care: Customer Testimonials
Mike & Sharon Lopez
Our son started going to Little Kingdom Child Care in January 2002 at the tender age of 2 years old. It was the biggest step yet in his young life and a huge step for the both of us.
We believe with all our hearts that Ms. Cassandra has truly been given the gift to guide and teach young children through their ever-changing development. She was 100% involved in our son's constant changing development. She continuously kept us updated through many different means of communication (verbal, written progress reports, phone calls, etc).
Our son attended Little Kingdom Child Care for almost three years, which we believe are the most important part of his young life to prepare him for his future life.
The result of his care and development at Little Kingdom Child Care was evident by his evaluation from the Hope Tech School in August 2004. At 4 years old he passed with flying colors and was ready to attend Kindergarten - one year early. We believe that is a direct result of his experience at Little Kingdom Child Care.
He continues to visit Ms. Cassandra when he has school off. The impact has blown us away that not being in attendance there for over nine months, he still continues to ask and wants to know how Ms. Cassandra and the kids are doing.

Having come from the fields of education and child development, my husband and I knew that we wanted our daughter to be cared for in a home environment. Finding affordable daycare on the peninsula is one struggle to endure finding someone you can trust is another one. After much research, we chose Little Kingdom because we wanted a home environment with a play-based setting, and we shared the same philosophy. Three months after my daughter was born, unable to be a stay-at-home mom, I reluctantly returned to work but I gave my daughter the next best thing. The difficulty in returning back to work was alleviated by the fact that I was able to leave our baby daughter in a home environment, with someone who was attentive to my child's cognitive, physical, emotional and spiritual development. Almost 2 years later, our daughter continues to grow and thrive at Little Kingdom daycare Ms. Cassandra is her 2nd mom, and Little Kingdom truly is her home away from home!

My daughter came to Little Kingdom in December of 2004, just a few months shy of her third birthday. Because she had never been in day care before, my husband and I were a little worried about how she would handle such a big transition. Our concerns vanished when we came to get her and she didn't want to leave! In just six months she has come to know all of her letters by sight, increased her counting skills, learned to spell her name, and is now starting to write her name. At Little Kingdom she has learned much more than academics. She has learned to interact with other kids and to share (which she doesn't have to do at home since she is an only child) and is learning about respecting and obeying the adults in her life. I love the fact that she is in a loving, Christian environment where she can learn, have fun, be active, be creative, and get dirty - in essence, just be a kid! Knowing that she is safe, happy, and well-cared for lets me work outside the home without guilt or worry, which is important to our family if we want to remain living in the Bay Area we love so much. I thank God for leading us to Little Kingdom!
