The Little Kingdom Family Child Care: Philosophy

I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, fun, and educational environment in our Christian based home. Your child will have daily opportunities to participate in a Bible lesson, learning centers, outdoor play, story time, music & movement, art experimentation, as well as individual & group play. I will also provide nutritious meals and snacks, and encourage good personal hygiene skills and manners.

I believe that you know your child and his/her needs better than anyone else in the world. It is my objective to develop a partnership with you, to provide the best care possible for your child.

I firmly believe that young children learn through active exploration and concrete experiences; children learn through play. The playroom and backyard are set up in developmentally appropriate learning centers. The television will rarely be on during regular child care hours.

I provide an on-going professional preschool program that fulfills the Head Start Domain Elements, Standards, and Indicator Guidelines and is consistent with the National Association for the Education of Young Children Guidelines for curriculum content.
